As founder of Sambalatte Torrefazione, Luiz C. Oliveira operates and manages all aspects of this exclusive Las Vegas caffé lounge & espresso bar.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Oliveira has been heavily influenced by local farmers and Brazilian cuisines, which led him to develop a lifetime of appreciation for coffee, tea and food. Luiz Oliveira has been a Hotel Food and Beverage Executive working at 4 and 5 diamond resorts for 28 years. During his tenure, he has managed over 18 locations that include international, Caribbean and stateside properties.
For the past ten years Luiz has been traveling all over South America, Europe, and US to research the concept that led to the founding of Sambalatte. During his travels, he visited coffee farms and attended coffee symposiums to better understand the trends in the industry, and successfully integrated all his knowledge into an extraordinary business. He and his wife Sheila currently live in Summerlin, Nevada.
